Simple to install The aquarium and frame are bonded together, all the electrics, filters lights heater are pr-wired with separate on & off switches for filters and lights. (so just one mains cable leaving the aquarium). Once location has been decided for the aquarium (ensuring behind plaster is a solid brick or block wall, not hollow or stud partition) as with hanging any bookshelf affix the x 2 steel L shaped brackets to the wall with supplied raw plug and steel heavy duty expanding bolt fixings. The aquarium then simply clips and locks tight and firm to the L Brackets in one go, leaving you only to put in the gravel water and plug in. In our own tests we have loaded each bracket and fixings to over 5 x the weight of the aquarium, and still will hold fast, and this aquarium comes with x 3 brackets. Servicing of aquarium Once a month change 10% of the water in the Aquarium, remove the x2 quick change cartridge filters and rinse filter media and add the Water Treatments we recommend, and this will keep the aquarium in show room condition. Our Rental Company have over 100 aquariums similar to this on a rental service contract basis in Hotel foyers, restaurants, offices receptions. Our engineers spend about 30 minutes on the aquarium, on a monthly service visit, to keep aquariums looking as good as the day it was installed, due to the quality of the filtration system supplied Fish selection Due to the narrowness of these aquariums we recommend small tropical fish, e.g. bight blue and red neon tetras, glow lights, zebra, danios, guppies or any of the small tetra family, remember when these fish are fully grown not much bigger than a match stick, the pictures displayed the stocking level for the picture was a large shoal of approximately 50 neon’s, which looked stunning as they moved in and out of the plants in a shoaling formation.
